So... why doesn't Carver get the Templar specialization?

Poor Carver. All that training and 6 years with Templars and he still doesn't get a specialization when he rejoins your party in Act 3.

I would guess they forgot it, there is a lot of small annoying bugs that get under my skin in DA2, and i hope for the love of god they fix some of em this week / coming week.
