Hi, I'm trying to register my cd key in this site ("Register Games" on the left) but I keep getting the message that "Code is not valid for game"
I also want to get the DLC I bought (Stem Deluxe Version should come with several DLCs and exclusive itens, right?)
I registered the game by right-clicking in the game and "Register your game..." option, which took me to an EA website
I searched the foruns for people with the same kind of issues but found no straight awnser of what should I do. Could some one please help me?
And if anyone of Bioware, EA or Steam can read this... what the hell guys, I paid a premium price for a premium headache?

there are multiple keys... you want the bottom one to register the game here... the others are the DLC promo codes

both of then gave me the same "Code is not valid for game" message

You guys should contact EA support. They should be able to sort it out for you. Looking for an unofficial fix for serial number problems on the forums isn't going to get you anywhere.

I am having the same problem. Just installed Dragon Age Origins Deluxe from Steam, was given two CD keys. I was able to redeem my DLC key, but cannot register my game. I see that this was an issue since the game's release--has this issue been solved yet?

Did you try adding hyphens after the fifth number of the code?
For example, my Awakening serial number appeared in block form, like this: XXXXXXXXXXX (shortened example)
You have to manually insert the hyphens so that it appears like this: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-etc.

I dont know if this had been solved or not, but i just recently had this problem and was directed here with the same problem but not real solution BUT
for any future people coming here with the same problem; the cd key is to be entered in the DA:O ultimate edition registration specifically, not the normal DA:O. This is below the Awakening expansion which is in turn below the standard DA:O registration.
Sorry to those whose inboxes i have just spammed but this is just in case people are as silly as me

Just to clarify for anyone having this issue:
In order to activate and play Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition from Steam, with all the DLC, you will need to enter ONE CD Key (The twenty-digit code, with no hyphens in it) and ONE DLC Promo Code.
To do this, start up Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition as you would normally. Start the game from the Start-up Screen (the one that allows to you go to the website, contact support, etc.). Watch or skip the introductory videos and you should then be at the Main Menu of Dragon Age: Origins. At the bottom-left of the screen it should say something along the lines of Logged Out. (Yes, I am well aware that all of you know how to start the game and am also aware that you more than likely have a BioWare Social account; I am just trying to make a complete guide, as clear as can be) Click on said button and it will lead you to the BioWare Social Webiste. Create an Account. Upon creating an account, you will see a bar on the left side, below your Avatar/Profile Picture. Look for the My Games tab, scroll over it and select Register Games.
Read very carefully, because I believe this is where most people become confused. At this point, you may think to yourself, "Okay, I have two CD Keys, right? One must be for Origins and the other is for Awakening, right?" Wrong. One of the codes you are given (stated earlier, the twenty-digit, unhyphenated code) is for your Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition game, and the other (sixteen-digit, hyphenated) is you Promo Code for the DLC.
You should be at the Game Registration Page, with a list of games. You will want to scroll down and look for Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition PC. There will be a small description and underneath that, a button that says Click here to register game. Obey said button. Ignore the text on the next page and open your Steam Library. Click on Do:A-U (yes, I am finally going to shorthand it) in the list and look for a button that says CD Key. A little box will pop up with two codes. Left click on the longer, unhyphenated code, and select "Copy to Clipboard" on the bottom of the little screen. After you do that, MINIMIZE the little box as you will need it again soon, and paste the code into the Game Registration box back on the BioWare Social Website and click Register. It should pause for a moment and then tell you that the game has been registered. Congrats!
Now for the next, and final step. Go back to the Game Registration page, with all the games listed. At the very top, under the large text that says Register Games it says "To register a promo code click here for the Promo Code Redemption page." Obey the magical golden letters and you will now be at the screen in which you authorize your DLC. Restore your CD Key list, copy the sixteen-digit, hyphenated code to your clipboard, copy that sucker to the box back at the BioWare Social 'site, and click Redeem Code. Just like the CD Key for Do:A-U, it will take a moment, and then tell you that the code has been verified and you can now use the DLC!
If at any time during this process there is an error or you are told that the code you have given is already in use, go to the EA Help page at https://help.ea.com/ and click Talk to a Game Advisor on the right-hand side. If you don't already have an EA account, it will ask you to make one, but it's worth it as you will not only be able to receive support for Do:A-U, but any other EA game, for any system!
Hope this has cured as many migraines as the problem originally caused.

Contact EA Customer Support (support.ea.com). If they can't get you sorted, they can walk you through replacing your disc or Steam install with the EA-Origins store download for no additional charge.

I had the same problem, but fixed it rather fast. Seemed i had to be logged in on the account in game while registering the two key's. I only had problems with the DLC as i where confused on where to activate it
Then not long later when i tried to start a new game it stopped asking me to register to get the DLC in my new game and i checked and still saw the DLC in downloads available then noticed installed next to that tab and there they all where
