Sorry to bring up this known issue, but I'm curious to see if it would ever get fixed.

After the battle was over, I pressed X a little too quickly and looted the body before the conversation. I didn't check to see if this was an actual bug, thinking that perhaps I was not doing the quest right, so I continued to play a lot of important stuff and I'm probably 2-3 hours past.

My question is, would I be able to keep playing the game without completing the "Fools Rush In" quest? I don't have any prior saves except for one from the VERY beginning and I am now 7 hours in the game.  Should I keep playing and hoping that you guys come up with a patch, or should I restart my game entirely?

"Fools Rush In" isn't necessary to complete the game. So you can finish DA2.
