What exactly is the point of subscribing to a given forum thread? I've subscribed to several, but have never found a way to see or interact with any "subscribed" thread... SHouldn;t it make it easier to go back to any particular thread? because if that is the point, then exactly how does it work? Where exactly can I see the threads I've subscribed to?

Should allow you to jump to subscribed topics, yes.
On the top of the forum you have the searchbox and two dropdown menus, what happens when you switch the first one (Forum Home) to "Subscribed Topics"?
