Hey EA/Bioware how about giving out a release date instead pushing out obscure photos?
Yup, it was fine the first time and even the second time. Just announce it already.
Bioware Will Release Screenshot#3 Tomorrow, If We Do Our Part!

They got everyone's attention already with the leaks on the PS3 update. ¬¬Rekkampum wrote...
Bioware *has* to do this. In entertainment, you don't just throw a dog a bone when he wants one. You tease him and make sure you've got his attention before you let him have it.

No they didn't, or they would've met their goal for the next promo by now.

Impressions?
That was included in the post about the first screenshot and clearly the goal was reached?
What is an "impression?"
There's no way the other screenshots got "liked' or "retweeted" 750,000 times.
Is it just, views? Is it a summation of the comments, likes, tweets, etc of the images?
I'm interested in what constitutes an "Impression" to Bioware?
How did they arrive at that word?

This is really a campaign to draw attention away from the failure of DA2 and to burry criticism of it under Mass Effect posts.
You are a failure....I'm sick and tired of idiots and haters.DA2 IS A GOOD GAME. GO PLAY IT! Enough with this topics trolls!
I can still remember same haterz who were complaining about ME2 when it was released but in a wile came to their senses.GO DO THE SAME!

Did the 2nd screenshot receive 750,000 impressions on Facebook?
Not that I know of. But I think that was just a tease anyway.

Impression=Page View
So if 5 people viewed the picture and retweeted it on their pages, and five people on each person's friend's list viewed the picture on their friend's page, each counts as an impression.
5 original views+25 more from the retweets=30 impressions.
Get it now?

Too much hype for a 30 minute DLC.. *sigh* still gonna spend 1200 ms.
even though both LotSB and Overlord took longer than 30 minutes and only cost 800 msp though right?

I'd go even as far as to say that the DA2 situation must have sped up the "Arrival" on its way to release by months. So we're going to see a trailer and a date real soon. It's not like they are going to see any irony in rushing a DLC to alleviate the damage from rushing a game.
That's just nuts.
As I've said before, ME2 sold slightly more copies than ME1 but the DLC sales made the sequel vastly more profitable. If there's any connection between DA2 and ME2, it's this: The success of ME 2 convinced EA to streamline DA2. They quickly found out, apparently, that DA and ME audiences are not interchangable.
For example -- I don't give a wee little d**** about Dragon Age and never will. I own Origins, but only because my 14-year-old son likes it. I never touch the thing.

man oh man this whole DA2 thing has really polarized the community. Before DA2 was released everyone was pretty much stoked with Bioware and loved the company, now you can't read a post on the ME boards without a couple of losers complaining about how DA2 didn't reach their nerdgasm expectations. these types need to GET OUT MORE.
Cleary you were not reading much before release then as there were just as many posts slating EA bioware and the dragon age 2 demo.
The getting a life sentence seems to fit quite aptly for yourself as well.

heh thats strange because I WAS. and while there were some people stating their concerns, it was NOTHING like it is now. every single god damn post features some virgin nerd ****ing about DA2, and how it's ruined Bioware's rep, or some ludicrous bs. i especially FACEPALM at the ones who are now worried about ME3, despite being produced by an entirely different team and featuring virtually no changes to the setup. these people should just throw their pathetic selves off a bridge and be done with it, if not for the fact that ME3 will probably kick ass.
Go spout your rubbish somewhere else.
"featuring virtually no changes to the setup" - I was not aware that you worked for bioware.
I am fed up of fanbois like you making things up to support your OMG ME3 IS GOING TO BE L33T argument.
It may well be a different team but there still answer to EA so again null and void argument.
