And then Seamus says the Qunari wouldn't cuddle??? Am I missing something here? Was Asham a gay Qunari?? Why was Seamus able to walk straight? Why didn't Asham try to put up a fight??

To be honest Ninja I thought this too, but this could soley be because it was wishful thinking lol after the new character model change of Qunari, it didn't sound like an entirely bad thing them romancing humans and would be quite interesting. They are after all well muscled lol

Like I said its at least what I thought.

It's possible. But from what we know of the qunari, it would be unlikely, and there isn't much to back it up.

Oh I am sure that it most likely was just an insult at the viscounts son. Still "appears" to be homoerotic in nature (by that I don't be sexy, I mean, it just had a since that it could be seen that way). Even so, it was a cool quest to see someone reaching out to the Qunari. I still like them, even after what comes later I like their way of life.... to a point. Shepherding quest made me want to cry my eyes to death...

I think so. I thought so the moment I met the guy standing over the dead qunari on a beach. Just like I thought Master Wade was gay the moment I met him. In fact, the dialogue back-and-forths like an old married couple made it impossible to not realize that Wade was gay.

But yeah, I thought Seamus was hitting that qunari.

There was a joke about the viscounts son doing "more" with the Qunari that had been slain which makes it obvious why people are reading more into it than "friends", but the most likely scenario is that it is just friends, but since they are characters without other things to show us their development we can read into it what we choose lol It can be made subjective.

And you are right about Qunari, primarily using sex for breeding but in the codex it mentions its not uncommon for some to actually use it to consummate connections with other Qunari. If a child was born of such it would be treated like any other and taken from the parents and given to whatever purpose the child would be suited best for.

So, while a same gendered romance between Qunari race wouldn't be expected, it wouldn't be impossible, after all, in all races are their people that find the same gender attractive.

Like I said though, its all useless speculation of a small storyline, though, so let people read into it what they choose to read into it if it helps them enjoy the game even more.

Hm... shirtless and ripped... lol... yeah okay maybe that's true, but I still don't think that's what was really going on.

@LoveAsThouWilt:  I wasn't really trying to stop people from thinking that... I just found it incredulous.  Also fishing for a info that I might not have known about, but it seems like something Tal'Vashoth would do, not actual Qunari.  They are too focused on following the rules to explore any kind of pleasure outside the Qun.  Anyway, I'm being logical again, so I'll stop there.  Carry on.

More than likely, she was just trying to insult Saemus for being a Qunari sympathizer.

He definitely had affection for the Qunari, but I think it was platonic or maybe unrequited at most. I have a difficult time comprehending a Qunari having an intimate relationship of any sort with a human, even if they were interested in understanding the Qun.

I think what she meant by "And I bet you've gone further than that too" is that he converted to the Qun. I don't think there are any sexual undertones here.

It seemed like it was more than friendship..he was REAL upset when she killed him, he didn't say, "You murdered all these Qunari!" He said," How could you! You killed him." I think there was something going on there, maybe not sexual though
