Im not exactly a veteran DA player, but this is driving me nuts.

For some reason I just cant seem to keep mobs off of Anders(Healer).

I have Aveline as a tank, who does a great job keeping aggro off of Hawke(Archer) and Merril.

Do auras generate a massive amount of threat or what? Even if I use goad on Aveline and Armstice on Anders, mobs remain on Anders. Unless I misunderstand what these skills do...

They can, it depends on the aura.


If a mage is doing very good dps, they'll peel aggro, it happens to me in DA2 all the time. You might want to fiddle with his tactics some, see about spacing it out.

Support abilities like Valiant Aura generate aggro slowly due to their increasing of allies abilities.
