The topic says it all. I would like to know for what quests, and which acts they are in and where their outcomes become apparent.
That is, which ones of them can be controlled. Primarily at the momment I want to know if I can change the end result of Merril's companion questline. That was... DEPRESSING. Feel like I need some anti-depression medicine at the end of some of these quests... lol
To clarify I want to know what can be controlled and what the possible results after to each of them.

If you choose the last option in the dialog with the mountain elves (the one where you assume responsibility for the death of the Keeper), they let Merrill and the rest of you go.
The quest is still bugged (e.g. no further cutscenes happen, including cutscenes which people reported happening in unrelated places but should really be happening here, such as Merill crying in front of her mirror), but at the very least you don't have to fight the mountain elves or the whole elven village. The quest does get marked as closed, so just move on. Act 3 has more bugs than the shacks in the Elven Alienage.

You can not kill the clan but merril is exiled. If you asked specifics it'd be easy but there are a lot of quests that can change how they turn out.

I had the scene of her crying way before I killed The Keeper.

Exiled only in words. I was still able to deal with the elves to buy things etc., even with Merril in my party.

I remember when I (thought) I defeated the demon and I said "let's get back to the camp" or whatever, Marethari stabs Merrill and I quickly went back to my last save. I don't really know what happens after that. I thought Merrill died so that's why I went back.
When I went back I chose "but you said the demon would kill you" and then Merrill stabs Marethari and then kills her clan.

Well, if you romance Isabela early on and become friends with her, she'll return with the relic and you can give her to the Arishok to avoid fighting him. That's kind of cool, because I didn't really want to kill him, even though he wasn't the nicest guy. I just lucked into that situation.

>When I went back I chose "but you said the demon would kill you" and then Merrill stabs Marethari and then kills her clan.
The demon only gives Merill a regular combat injury, if he stabs her. It can be treated with an injury potion. Plus you have to fight the demon for another round.
Regardless of whether you let the demon stab Merill or not, it does not impact whether you have to fight your clan or not. See my reply above for how you can avoid the fight with the clan.

Did you have to turn Isabela over to the Arishok for this to happen? Because if you refuse he still demands a duel.

Yeah I did noticed a bug that if you went along to assume that the demon was dead Merril gets stabbed, but it seems its coded wrong and the games FORGETS that that happened at all.
Damn it now I wish I could have prevented destroying that whole tribe.... well I plan to go through multiple times, even as a warrior again once all the bugs are sorted out. Now I'm suffering the slow-motion bug from Isabella now. So until its fixed, I guess him done for now.
Sorry I was so vague and I am sure that in the coming weeks after many people complete the game that we will see full lists of what can and cannot be changed. I just wanted to get the discussion started so I can be SURE such a thing comes about.
Another is, is there any way to get a positive ending to "Justice" I may have romanced Anders and still stuck with him, but I did not agree with what he did even though I understood why.
The templars and the chantry have droven many many a mage to do things they wouldn't have done. Even without the chantry dangerous mages will exist, but it seems that the chantry has caused more harm than good. I mean, in DAO the circle couldn't even protect itself from one man going nutso, which goes to show that the system NEEDS to change entirely.
About Isabella:
She does not need to be romanced, just befriended to return. And I choose to defend her of course even if I liked the Arishok, to a point.

I've been wondering the same thing about Justice, but from what I've read, he blows up the Chantry whether or not you help him do his quest or not, and you have to choose between him and Sebastian no matter what (short of not buying the DLC of course, in which case you have no Sebastian).

Yeah Sebastien could go raise his army. He's an overzealous idiot. I dislike over religious people. He starts out seeking revenge and ends the game in the same place he started. His beloved Ethina ( think that was her name) would definitely not want him "seeking revenge" for her death.

Updated question:
Is there a way to ally yourself with the TalVashoth qunari? Because I don't see how them seeking a way outside of the Qun is a bad thing, but I fairly certain there probably no option to avoid them as enemies. They probably attack on sight no matter what.
EDIT: nevermind. Forgot about the Qunari that left the TalVashoth because they were murderers. So death they will get lol

You can talk Merril out of her stupid plan by refusing to give her the tool to fix the mirror in Act 2, I'm not sure if you need to have high friendship with her at this point to do so. You presumably also don't get to do her Act 3 quest with all the loot and xp that entails, but in this course Marethari and her clan don't die which is a positive.
