Okay so I'm in Act 2, did all of Fenris's personal quests and gave him his gift. He's gotta be close to if not 100% friendship and I just completed "A Bitter Pill" (said he's not a slave, gave the slave chick money, ect.) ...and every time I go back to Hawke Estate I try to woo him for romance but every time he just storms off saying, "I think it would be best for both of us if I did" (in reference to him leaving). WHAT GIVES?! What hell do I do to get his sex scene? =,,,[

This is supposed to happen I think.

If you didn't screw up the romance he'll continue it in act 3.

As far as I know.

I thought you were supposed to have sex in act 2 and then in act 3 he apologizes for leaving so abruptly.

Try leaving the house and going back again at night. Or you could use the "Don't go" option when you talk to him at the estate the first time around. Those both worked for me.

I've gone to my house at night, day, even went to anders and made sure I crushed all his hopes and dreams of a romance. And he walks out the door every time I tell him not to leave =.[ DAM YOU FENRIS!!

Let him leave. Then leave the house yourself and zone back in from another place. He'll be there waiting and the conversation will continue. He just needed to leave and blow off some steam.

This keeps happening to me too. I flirted shamelessly with all my companions and had a fling with Isabella...I don't know if this affects the Fenris friendship romance. I have him at 100%, gave the book and completed the Bitter pill quest.
I used all the heart options when he came back but he still leaves. :( So he does come back again? I left my house and came back 2 times....nothing yet.

I had the same issue when I attempted to start rivalry romance. I maxed out his rivalry, completed the quest, gave the gift, did the question beliefs and he stormed off and never came back. :(

Fenris leaving IS apart of the romance. This is why his is the better one. He feels guilty for "using" you to achieve some peace. But he is thrown off by the sudden emergence of his past from his night with you. Just keep on the flirts and **** slap any Slaves and he'll puppy dog eye back into your heart.

It is possible to get him to stay too, I just don't know how. Here's the scene where he stays for proof:

Ya , I know he leaves after the sex scene. But with my playthroughs he is at Hawke's house after the bitter quest pill abd says he should leave after the end of the convo even when i select all the heart options. So does he come back after he leaves my house(after the bitter pill quest) ?

If you're still in Act 2, try going back to your estate at night, he should come back and initiate the romance.

Wrong video or am I not understanding what you mean by "leave"? I thought we were talking about his departure after the sex.

Oh, no he always leaves after the sex I think, lol. But most of the time, when you ask him not to leave at that point he does, but then will come back later for the sex, where in that video Hawke got him to stay and they activated an alternate version of the scene then. Which is what the OP was referencing, that he always left with no sex.

All I did was went and did a quest after he stormed out and THEN I went back to the estate and there he was. It doesn't matter if you have sex with isabella and flirt because I did too. I also had some funny bickering
"I don't see what hawke sees in you"
"It is done with"
....something along the lines of "good" or "easy"
"It is the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life. Leave it be."
"I did her TOO you know! Ugh" --Isabella

haha

I think you can get him to stay if you have chosen all the flirt options with him up to that point and not flirted with anyone else? And have you're friendship/rivalry high enough? I got him to stay the first time I romanced him by using the heart option when he first came to Hawke's estate to apologize for being such a butt during the "A Bitter Pill" quest but I'm not sure how.

I had this issue last night, first playthrough romanced him fine. Got into act 2 again last night, flirted with isabela once adn the fenris romance didnt happen, reloaded didnt flirt with isabela and got the sex scene, so i think you cant flirt with anyone else in act 2....

You can flirt. The sex scene works differently though. He'll storm out but after you leave your estate and come back to the estate he'll be there and THEN you get the sex scene. Flirting is too much fun to not do with other companions.

Oh really?! I got into such a panic.....cos the last flirt option "dont go" didnt come up and he said we were friends?

I thought I had screwed up, is that not the case? does he come back again?

So, now I just need to complete the final quest in act 2 and Fenris never came back. Sooo weird. I cut off Anders advances. I only flirted with Merill once and she showed up at my house right after, I turned her down. I don't know if the order of the gift, personal quest and questioning beliefs quests matter cuz this is the second time I tried to romance Fenris and he never comes back after her storms off to complete the sex scene after a Bitter pill. I got all heart options in the dialouge that followed. I'm thinking maybe cuz I investigated after the Isabella fling, I can'r romance him....but I didn't investigate on the 1st playthrough.

If the Don't Go option didn't come up then you probably screwed it up unfortunately. Did you get his rivalry all the way up, flirt with him whenever possible, give him his gift, give the slave girl coins during "A Bitter Pill", and let him decide how to end the mission during "A Bitter Pill?" Only if you've done all that I believe can you activate the romance scene.

I did all of it in my first playthrough and pretty much the same 2nd apart from flirting from isabela but i think my friendship wasnt high enough now thinking about it.

So if i had continued would the romance never have blossomed?

hm, is that girl thing that important? I gave her a job in my house, Fenris seemd to be happy about that, at least I got some friendship points. But he also left the house and never came back until today. Was it a special quest you made in the meantime? I had some fun with Isabella, and flirted around - so is it for sure that it doesn't harm? I would say he has around 80% friendship, no clue how to get it higher.
