its getting to be a big pain in the ass for me. it used to be that it would only happen once every 4 hours, now its happening once every 15 min.

i even started ratcheting up the fan on my video card to keep it cooled down since the game puts a little hit on my hardware, thinking maybe it was heating up and getting bogged down.

i do know, for thos eof you also having this issue, that as soon as it happens, ONLY hit crtl-alt-del a few times, it will take 5-10 seconds but as soon as u get to the menu select "task manager" and then when that pops up, for some reason as soon as it does, the game is ok, so just click the "X" and the game will be brought right back up and running. thats the best way i have found to deal with it thus far...

(im running 32 bit windows vista w/ SP1 and i'm going to check on any new updates
nvidia geforce 260gtx, 3G of ram, core 2 duo 2.13hz and i have a integrated sound card disabled via bios, while running an older creative audigy 2.

maybe thats the problem, old creative cards? its about time i upgraded...)

also, why did bioware say, to check for new drivers the day before launch, when the only drivers that were avail, for nvidia, were already out as beta on march 1st? was nvidia supposed to have a final version for the 8th?

i'm having a blast with DA2 otherwise. can't wait for that 1st tasty patch with all its band-aidy goodness, mmm i can just taste it now...
