Ah the terrorist way of thinking how lovely.

It's okay to kill the priests because all the priests are evil.
It's okay to kill the mages because all mages are evil.

I hope any dlc or DA:3 brings some more groups to judge as a whole that we can kill.

Isn't that all that DA2 was about in the end? Yahtzee's review kinda hit the nail on the head. You CAN'T go five minutes without someone being racist in some way.

Mages, templars, elves, fereldens, nobles, chantry people....and all you're left with in the end is siding with one side, and killing tons of the other. The game forces you into the "I hate mages" or the "I hate templars" bucket by the end of the game. You can try to play neutral as long as possible, until the end hits and you must choose.

To be fair, whichever side you pick, they also show you that the other side is justified in some way: Mages may be oppressed and all that, but HEY LOOK AN ABOMINATION.

wow I would so pay to play a DLC that gave me some other emotions than pure angst at what DA2 did to one of my favorite characters in the series. I went through 4 playthroughs of beating my head against a solid wall of angst to try and change an unchangeable outcome. I'd love to see SOMETHING happy come out of this game... or at least something less depressing... I'd settle for less depressing...

It's far less cut and dried when you consider that the "circle tower" is housed in a jail which has seen such atrocities that the viel is almost non existant, and is seeing the current torture and oppression of yet more innocents. Is it anyones fault but the templars (speaking of abominations... how 'bout those templars...) that the mages are getting hit with the demon stick every time they doze off?

I usually play rpg's with a neutral frame of mind, but I just can't see the templars side of it at all in DA2. Torturing innocents "for the good of mankind" just because they might one day accidentally or deliberately possibly maybe hurt someone hardly seems just or fair.

To the OP: NO. I don't like DLC's related to specific characters... the only DLC should be based on the protagonist, not his father, and not some fan favorite who may not be interesting to the entire fan base. Forgive my harsh tone, but DLC's like Leliana's Song come to mind. I know some people love her, but I can't stand her, and I don't want to see yet another DLC about some character I don't give a damn about.

And to people who think it's cool to resurrect characters just because you didn't kill them? That's selfish. If anything, they shouldn't be giving us those options in the first place. Try to look at the world from somebody else's perspective once in a while.

If you don't like it don't buy it...

I can't get my head around why this is such a huge issue for people. I brought the Sebastion DLC, hated it, deleted it. I don't blame anyone but myself for buying it. I don't play it and thats the end of it.

I also hated the idea of a DLC where you play the darkspawn.

I simply didn't buy it.

Problem solved!! :o:O:O

.... and the end of the DLC will be a reunion between Anders and Ser Pounce-A-Lot. :o

Even though he explained it in words, I wouldn't mind a DLC leading to the events that led Anders to join with Justice.

But if this is the last we see of Anders, I'd really like him to be exorcised and return to his silly old self.
