I'm quite sure a good writer can create at least a dozen of way to free him. And a dozen of motivations why he could be freed. C'mon, I myself found a couple already!

I would surely buy any Anders DLC, but I wouldn't want to see him separated from Justice, though I understand I'm clearly a minority here. I think blaming all his controversial DA2 actions solely on spirit's influence really cheapens the character.
