Doubt it. I agree that, strictly speaking, it has the potential to be GOTY...but meh, I dunno. They just don't have some huge company behind them.
DA2 had a huge company behind it, and look what happened to it.

They might still redeem themselves if they release an awesome expansion.
Well if the expansion is free maybe (let s be dreamy ok, utopic even), otherwise, they can just sit on it and keep not breathing. I will just drop by to throw the body out along with the trash.
Meanwhile, yeah, too many other big titles coming:
DX:HR
Skyrim
Witcher 2
ME3 (hopefully...)
In any case,DA2 has zero chance to go for GOTY.

they are bought awards that mean absolutley nothing to the gamer.
all you should really care about is if these games will be good and make you happy as a gamer.

Don't take things out of context, read the sentence after that, I'm not even commenting on the GAME itself. The sad truth is that no matter how good or poor a game you have, that won't really matter as the big players (EA, Activision, etc.) have got most of the gaming magazines in their pockets. As part of their "marketing" campaigns.

ME3 will win most of the awards me thinks.
If it does not slip.. In light of what happened to DA2 I think Bioware are going to be extra careful with ME3.

If you only play Bethesda games for the story then save your money. The point is they give you a world to explore not so much the main plot.HawXV2 wrote...

You think EA will let them? Seriously? They'd force it out the door wireframe.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think they will force them to put out another DA2. Unless they are done with Bioware and really don't care.

My advice is to support any indie company you come across that has a game you find interesting, because honestly only they will bring change to a dismall world the current gaming market is in.
True, unfortunately I am not aware of any making good cRPGs.

Kind of surprising so as I really really enjoyed Fallout 3 and its atmosphere, so not a game with replay value to me. However I spend countless hours in there exploring every last bit of it and most of all .. I had tons and tons of fun while doing it. Maybe because the background setting appeals more to me. Just in a way inline with ME3 and Deus Ex:HR ... always some form of futuristic setting.
My money is on DeusEx:HR overall so, regardless how how much I like or not like ME1 and ME2. But I guess I'm biased towards these two franchises
So some new and newly re-freshing game as GOTY compared to established franchises would be something re-freshing as well

RPG of the year, maybe. It's really between Skyrim and the Witcher for that one. ME3 might get it too, only if BioWare hasn't screwed that up like DA2.MegaBadExample wrote...
