Sup Everyone,

Just curious what the DA community is hoping for as far as DLCs?  I completed the romance with Isabela on my first playthrough so I'm hoping for romance to carry over into a DLCs/Expansions.  Maybe a "Pirates of Dragon Age" theme?  Think of the potential for adventure in uncharted territory!
*sidenote here when you romance that filthy pirate hooker Isabela for the first time you should get an achievement entitled : "Oh snap, you got the Aids!" lol but I digress...
I would also like to see a opportunity to participate further in the war against the Templars preferably with Bethany involved.  ( I sided with the Mages).  Bethany was a great character would be cool to link up with her on some Grey Warden/Circle of Magi Quests as I was a bit disapointed she wasnt a playable character the entire playthrough.

What about you?  What would you like to see?  Merill finds redemption or retrubution from the Dalish?  Fenris seeks a support group for his apparent drinking problem and anger managment issues?  ( I mean dude seriously, stop wasting the good wine.  At least finish the bottle before you chuck it...)  Anders is reunited with Ser Pounce Alot?  (God, what a tool he is btw.)  Seriously though I really wanna know what you guys think, I'm sure there are some great ideas out there!

Ok I was trying to make the topic Companion related lol...ok so what companion(s) would you like to get more hours with in a non specific DLC then? (for those of you not interested in companion specific DLC)

Fenris has captured my heart quite completely. But I would like to know more about the nature of Anders and Justices meshing, and a dlc where we explored that would be nice.

Also, a DLC of Aveline doing kickass Aveline things.

Fenris was a pretty interesting character I liked him alot despite it was hard to convince him to not want to kill Bethany lol.  Anders I wasnt crazy about but I'll admit the whole Justice aspect of the storyline was kinda cool.  I can see your point about Aveline too, she probably has plenty of ass kicking to do as per usual.

I dont think we'll see a character DLC. Mike Laidlaw said in an interview that the DLC would all focus on the champion. The ydidnt want to jump aroung like they did with origins so all the DLC will be about the champion not his companions. If anything i'd like to see DLC's were are romances carry over for DA2. That way if we romsnced Isabela she's be with us cause Verric does say everyone left the champion except whoever they romanced. That would be better in my opinion.

Yeah I guess that makes sense, I was thinking more like a few years after the resolution of the DA2 storyline there could be an opportunity to meet up with certain companions that might be interested or have a new common goal. When I said companion related DLC I should have clarified I didnt mean a short one like "witch hunt" which alot of people seemed to be disatisfied with (self included). I'm talking many hours of game play where we can hook up with our favorite companions. It does seem as though the new direction they are taking is very Mass Effect like though which left alot of companions in the dust in the sequel.

I'm hoping for something similar to Leliana's song about one of their pasts. Not too picky on who (except no siblings) since they all have pretty unique pasts it seems, but I'd get especially giddy over Isabela, Fenris, or Anders.

I'm of mind with Mark of the Dragon here. If the DA2 romances carry over into the DLCs, like Varrick implied in the epilogue, btw. I'll be ecstatic. And buy every single one

I'm hoping for that as well. Like I said I would like to see a DLC that carries over romance like one that includes Isabela in a "Pirates of Dragon Age" themed DLC. Bela has plenty of "booty" to go around for a DLC I'm sure Seriously though it would open up the possibility for many quest lines as you explore the open seas and uncharted territories. As long as its not short lived and lame like Witch Hunt I'm game.

I see alot of the community shares my hopes for romances to carry over into potential DLC/Expansions for DA2. What about Bethany though and the War between the Templars and Mages? Am I the only one that is interested in getting more involved in apsect of the storyline or thinks Bethany was an awesome companion? She became a Warden in my playthrough so that opens up the possibilty for a bunch of DLC there too.

Why not just make an expansion that occurs between one of the time jumps that involves all the companions?

That is very true, there is opportunity for that as the game progresses a few years more then once. You make an excellent point! The expedition would be an obvious problem but I can't remember anything that would prevent the party from meeting up during the next time lapse

Exactly. I think it would be a great compromise since a lot of people complain about not really getting to know the companions until Act 2 which is 3 years down the road. An expansion between 1 and 2 would let you get to know them better, maybe do a quest with them, etc. And I doubt Hawke is the kind of person to just sit around doing nothing notable for 3 entire years... there had to be something that happened during that time.

Yeah I can't see Hawke, Isabela, Varric and the rest of the gang not getting into some mischief for 3 years straight. I'm just really hoping they fix the Isabela/Sebastian friendship bug soon. I just got the Sebastian DLC but I'm probably shelfing the game untill they fix that.

I really would like to see the DAO Warden show up and show the effects of some of the end game stuff in action and is the ANY way some sexual tension/romance could go down with the incredibly hot Flemeth?

I actually laughed-out-loud at your Flemeth comment hehe.  Not gonna lie when I first encountered her in DA2 my first thought was "Damn she's got a nice rack for an old lady!"  (Followed shortly by "I'd still like to know how that old coot is alive though as I drove my sword through her head in DA:O for Morrigan") 
Unfortunatley my "Hero" from the first game wouldn't be making any guest appearances...Aside from the blood magic to save his life my character was mostly "Good"...  That was untill I made the choice for him to join Morrigan and their child in the fade, regardless of consequence.  (during witchunt)  I was actually half expecting (hoping maybe)  to see my Hero from DA:O make an apperance as Morrigan's evil lover/bodyguard in DA2.

My thoughts exactly in my original post, Hawke+Isabela+A Pirate Ship = Good times.  Think of all the possibilties, all the uncharted territory and unclaimed treasure?  (and I'm not talking about Isabela's "treasure trove", I think most NPCs have "left their mark" in that territory lol.  Including Alistair and Zevran based on the dialouge?)  I digress however, a "Pirates of Dragon Age type theme would be cool though.  The possibilites for exploration are so endless in fact I could see this being a full expansion, stand alone game or even the start of DA3.
