Oh, I should really mention that Entropic Cloud is such a waste, it takes forever to finish casting and rarely does what you desire. Those points are so better off elsewhere.
Ye i know that spell sucked so much and i was really disappointed on how useless it was because it would always get resisted so ye i completely forgot to mention this but people dont get Entropic cloud, yes the stats on it look nice but everybody resists it i was only manage to get it off two times throughout my whole playthrough and when it goes off its a good spell but the casting time and the fact that it would be resisted like 100% of the time made it worthless for me so people who are reading the guide put those two points into either rock armor, arcane shield, or a heal.

so my first playthrough was with the spirit/entropy/force mage and i have to say that I am impressed by how much damage this build can pull of with some combos. I will tell that i was able to pull off over 50,000 damage on a mob by using pull of the abyss with gravatic ring then proceeding to putting a fully upgraded walking bomb on a disoriented victim due to varrics skill and then have anders cone of cold the enemies that are in the ring and then proceed to put death hex on the bombed victim and then have varric archers lance the poor sucker to oblivion while also blowing the crap out of his comrades. the reason i was able to get those high numbers was because i was weilding the staff final thought that gave me 33% spirit damge.
so people discuss and tell me whether this build is good or not.
Well, not to be rude but this is one of the debates going on here. That number looks really nice, but from a simple practical viewpoint, it's all fluff. I would say such a build is *not* good, because it's pure overkill and that comes at the price of power in other areas where it matters. A single 2h Cleave + attack skills warrior can destroy any number of trash mobs and elites on solo within a few seconds' worth of time. No, it won't produce 50k hits, but since the mobs only have like 600hp anyway, it doesn't really matter.
With that, you can have your Hawke and Anders chug a cup of coffee or do something useful against the lieuts / rogues / bosses instead, as opposed to dedicating a huge amount of combined effort and mana and 10x the time and talent choices to do what that 2h just did on his own. I'm currently playing a dual mage team on Nightmare with the same idea you had here, just because I think it might be fun. But there's no doubt that a simple 2h is just far, *far* more efficient. As for bosses, that's tank / rogue specialty.

Well you do know that this build has way more other potentials then just dealing with mobs of enemies, it all comes down to what other companions you have in you group, my companions were aveline, varric, and anders, my tactics would involve aveline going against the higher ranked enemies and tanking them while varric, anders, and i took care of the mobs and at the same time im helping aveline by debuffing the higher ranked enemy so she doesnt have a hard time with it. plus bosses like th rock wraith are easy with this build because that things resistance to spirit damage is so low that if walking bomb a profane at the right time it could like 2k damage to that thing.

I'm going with something along the lines of this (ignore the higher levels - it's just filler now). Running with Carver/Fenris and two ranged attackers (Varric and an archery-modded Isabella). No healers at this point - we'll see how that goes.
