I'm sorry if a similar topic has already been opened, but I couldn't find one.

I've finally made it to the end of the game on nightmare difficulty. And so far I've done pretty well, relying on a party consisting of a Sword-and-Board tank (Hawke), DW Rogue (Isabella), Archer (Varric) and healer (Anders).
Unfortunately, I had to kill Anders since he refused to side with the templars, and with Bethany dead in the deep roads, I'm without a healer.

Does anybody have any ideas for how to survive the Orsino fight without a healer? Having got this far on nightmare, I'd really hate to have to drop the difficulty level. :crying:

"if" you can hold the arrgo of Osino himself, you can actually kite him around and let the others do the dirtywork for you. and by kiting i mean getting the aggro, wait for him to use a attack animation and run out of it, get back in a spam a few skills, rinse and repeat.
you'll still use some pots at this points due to the his minions, but i think that's the best you can do at that point. also, for the endgame fights i'd recommend using the +10% dmg/ or armor potions, also the atk-speed slowing poison works wonders if you manage to kite^^
i lolled when i managed to solo the high dragon with my 2H warrior xD

I killed him in a similar situation. You might reload back to before the whole thing started, when you still have access to your home, and crafting a load of restoration potions and all the best stuff like mythal bombs and fel poison. With the fell poison on everyone, they did a fair amount of healing to themselves, and no one really takes so much damage that they can't use a pot and stay alive.

It's a rough (and extremely long) fight, but I was able to beat him on nightmare with Aveline, Merrill, Varric, and a 2h warrior. Also of course, interrupt his drain life, dodge his attacks, and maybe use one slowing poison as well. In the second phase when he's jumping around, he'd sometimes go to the edge of the map and just hop up and down for a while. Good time to get behind him and deal damage.

In the last phase, he drops his club after you deal enough damage. For a while, he'll spawn adds--keep on killing them with one party member. Once he stops doing that, the fight isn't very hard. Still long, though.
