 I am supposed to give this shield to Aveline "in the barracks," but I don't know where the barracks are ... What am I missing?

Yeah, that was the first time in the game she really cut into me and it seems like - after that - I was on a steady road to Rivalry with her, no matter what I did.

They could have made that shield at least a little better. She didn't get to use it for very long.

Nor me. She was all "I had a shield. It was Wesley's. We sold it."

And was all pissed off at me. And I'm going all, "No, we didn't. I have it in my chest at home. You can cry at it any time you want. Get a grip."

Modders have model swapping semi-figured out, so...

I really like that shield mesh, actually. The colors just clash with her armor

I'm going to leave her with that sheild equiped to see what happens, if she says swe sold it when its glued to her back I will  be most displeased.

If she has it equipped she'll say she has Wesley's shield and wants to know if you expect her to pawn it.

My rather diplomatic Hawke snapped right back at her and ended up with a bunch of rivalry points, but we still ended up friends by the end of the game. She's family, you know.

I don't know if familys the right word, you dont spend 2 acts trying to romance a family member.

I just went home, got the Wesley's shield and threw it on her before the cutscene. Just changes some dialogue, but she just gets grumpy for alternate reasons.

I too kept Wesley's shield in my chest, and I was annoyed that she said that we sold it. I keep all of the companions' starting equipment for sentimental reasons.

Hehe, I had the exact same scenario. I had the shield back in my estate. I was kind to her about it though, and she appriciated the meaning behind the new shield.

I couldn't stand Aveline being upset with me, so I normally reloaded my game everytime she had a rivalry boost. ;p
