* If you import a drunken Alistair, he sits about in the Hanged Man ranting about the Wardens and Morrigan, before finally being approached by Teagan and leaving sometime in the second act.
* In the third act you can find/meet up with Nathaniel in the deep roads, which is very entertaining if Anders is in your party
* Varric mentions the Warden a few times in his "conversation" with Cassandra
* If you sided with the werewolves in Origins, there's a reactive quest at Sundermount during the . . . first act? I think. I didn't do this quest myself, but I did watch my husband play through it.
* If you import a Dalish elf, Merrill mentions her in a conversation with Anders
There are probably many more, but these are what I can think of that weren't mentioned already.

Hmm.. I had been waiting for this for a while. When does she say this exactly?

Yes, you encounter some angry elves wanting to take revenge on an ex-werewolf.
Imported my dalish warden and irc she was referred to in a conversation about the mirror between Hawke and either Merrill or the keeper.
When you meet (non-drunken) Alistair and he talks about the warden, he gives you something of hers (can't remember if this was actually one of her items or just one created for this encounter).
Also in the battle at the end of Act 2 killed a Qunari leader called Sten about half a dozen times.

i used an elf mage from the circle. how do u get a drunken alistair? recruit logain? and how do u marry anora? dont remember that option.
Only male human nobles can marry Anora. And drunken Alistair is one possibility if you recruit Loghain. You must convince Anora not to execute him, and you must not marry him off to Anora. Then he quits the wardens and becomes a traveling drunk.

What are the conditions for this? I conscripted Nathaniel and did his companion quest in Awakening yet i didn't bump into him in DA2.
In the Grey Warden Letters you find, Avernus(from Warden's Keep) talks about the Architect and also complains about how slow is research is progressing.

Basically, he mentions his progress being slow but significant, and that the research from The Architect was also helpful (I assume this is because I told him to ethically help the wardens, and I allowed The Architect to leave at the end of Awakening).
EDIT: Damn, JedTed beat me to it <_<
Also, during the "banter" between Sandal and your Mabari, Bodhan will mention that Sandal might have picked up some Mabari speak from traveling with the Hero of Ferelden.
And Isabela will say that she has "met" the Hero of Ferelden in your first conversation with her, assuming you slept with her in your save.

When you go to Gamlen's home and talk to Leandra, ask her about the Amell family.

Yes, by recruiting Loghain in DA:O that makes Alistair leave your party. Or as was my case on my second play-through of DA2, I chose the preset world state where Alistair was exiled. I never had a play-through of DA:O where I married Anora, although I remember having the option to ask her at one point.

- There are at least a couple of references to Brother Genitivi.
- Nathaniel Howe makes a reference to Vigil's Keep when you go to the Deep Roads to find him.
- Isabela mentions in a side conversation that her husband was murdered and the circumstances surrounding it were very "Antivan". If you ever went to the Pearl in DA:O with Zevran then you have an idea of what that's about.
