As you're probably aware, the Merrill quests "A New Path" and "A Talking To" are bugged; I can complete "A Talking To" with the dialog reversed and broken, but I don't want to get too far in just to learn that "A New Path" won't actually trigger any more.
So: does "A New Path" *actually* trigger later on? Does attempting to complete it break the Merrill romance?
It might be worth playing on if the quest triggers (even if bugged in order) and doesn't break the romance, but otherwise, I think I'll wait for a patch.
