So, are these the only forums now? When I go to the Dragon Age site I don't see a link to the forums, just the community. I am assuming I missed something here.

Ive heard these where turning into the official forums on Nov 3...guess it came earlier

The official Bioware forums are still there, so I assume that the DA:O forums are still there, too. But yes, I think that this is basicly the official forums from now on.

It could seriously use some moderation, though. I think it's funny that every time you report something, you get an automated mail from EA, but nothing happens. Yay for automation.

"Report this post" actually doesn't go to any of us moderators. It goes directly to the EA head honchos, which is like calling in the big guns...only slower.

We do what we can moderating, but there is quite a bit of traffic here, and PMing the user names listed at the bottom of the forums as mods is more likely to get a response if something has been missed.

Also, the old forums still exist, you just need to navigate directly to them. They will be archived off when the game is released, however.

There was a thread on the spoilers forum that got shut down a couple hours ago after getting some user-related reports.... seemed to happen in a pretty timely matter. ^^

edit: coulda been due to the large number of reports, there were several people active at the time

I just tried accessing the old forums by going to the Bioware site and clicking on Dragon Age and it sent me here again.

I always got to the DA forums via the Bioforums list, so no change yet.



The devs still post there: Derek French just updated the system requirements list...

It got shut down by Lady Shayna, who does not get any message when you hit the report button.

The people at EA work 9 to 5 and monitor dozens of forums. You're better off messaging a mod here if you have a problem.

The reason I was asking was I didn't know if I was doing something wrong or if these were the new forums. I wanted to make sure I was at the right place.
