I was wondering if someone could help me locate all the blood mage items that have a Health:Mana ratio. You know, the ones where 1 hp = 2 mana and whatnot. I want to make sure I grab them all so my blood mage can be more efficent. If possible please list the items you know of and the Acts you acquired them from. It would be even better if you could state the merchant or quest you obtained it from. Thanks!

Sheperding Wolves quest in Act 1 where you need to free the Qunari Saarebus. Once you exit the tunnel and met the Qunari outside, dont let them have him, instead say you want to release him. When he says he wants to kill himselve let him, he will give a necklace.

I forgot the name of it and the stats but it has the Blood Mage effect. Pretty sure the other stat was health regen.

Edit: I just checked my game and the Amulets stats are:

Talisman of Saarebas
+2 Health Regeneration
Blood Magic: Each point of health provides 1 additional mana.

There is a vendor in lowtown, sells Ring of Ruin. +1 blood and some health regen. Another vendor in lowtown sells robes that have blood magic on them. Act 2, Sundered Coast a vendor sells an AWESOME staff for 120g or so.

Is the staff worth it for the last act though? Normally the best weapons drop in Act 3.

Also I have read that the ring reappears in the lowtown vendors list at some point, so you can obtain two of them.

Your talking about the Staff at the Sunderd Coast, whitch is really awsome.
I'm not trying to derail the OP or topic here, but even with playing through the game doing all side quests and "optionals", i cannot even get close to that amount of G...

There are a few vendors with gear similare to that Staff, in quality. But all of them cost 100ish G.

How the hell do people afford these without using -developer console codes/ Glitches?

I got a lot of gold near the end of Act 3. But still 120g is a lot for one weapon when you also have tomes and such to buy.

That's why I'm asking. I'm not buying a 120g staff that just gets replaced.

Don't give the guy 50g to end act 1. There is a dwarf who offers to pay your way if you finish all of the quests. Make sure you clear every zone, every quest. Sell all gear obviously, I had 130g halfway through Act 2, even after buying both tomes from act1. The only tome I have found for act 2 is the dalish vendor, and I bought that shortly after the staff. Still have 25g left!

Edit: I also bought every backpack I have found. Also 4 makers sigh for respecs, so I wasn't hoarding everything for the staff.

I didn't give 50g in act 1 because I had bought tomes and potions from the Black Emporium. I bought a bow for 20g or so in act 2 and that tome from the Dalish vendor. Didn't get past 100g until act 3. I must be doing something wrong. I barely buy anything except for tomes, and I loot and sell as much as I can find.

Uh, investing with your own money or accepting the offer have no effect on your gold total. If you pay your own way, you get an extra 50 at the beginning of Act 2 from the sale of the final bits of treasure, if not, you get nothing.

Either way, you technically don't lose any money.

not exactly
there are additional drops and experience possible

Do multiple blood mage items stack, therefore increasing the Ratio to like 7:1 or something or can you only have one??

Cold-Blooded is still usable in Act 3, especially if you use ice spells. The best for them, really.
