Ok so I did the char creator and then logged in and saved the char.
Is that all I have to do to get the +1 stats ring or is there more?

Apparently just log in with the same account email you have here, when you get the game (you will be prompted)- and you will get the ring automatically.

edit: to be a little clearer

The game will have an option to login to your Community Account. I'm guessing it will be similar to logging in on the CC.

The devs made it sound like you will then get the ring automatically if you are using the same account you uploaded the characters with. This is regardless of it being a PC or Console.

I am sure that I am not the only one looking for clarification on this. I was hoping we could all benifit from it.

well while you all are answering questions here, how do u use the same acount on the 360?? can u just do everything the same, inlcuding name, or what?

still no answer huh? well, on the add ons part of dragonage.com it shows under the ring in small text "for PC and all Consoles" so yea, i believe it is, but how would we get it? Log in on the game maybe like in the character creator while on Live and maybe itll pop up the notice just like with the PC info given above?

A lot of 360 games released by ubisoft have an option to link your xbox live account with your ubisoft account to recieve bonuses, maps etc. So Dragon Age will most likely have something similar.

Yes, the ring is available for X-Box and PS3. You connect your console's live account to your EA/BioWare account.

from what i've heard from bioware, including the chat on the eu blog, any rewards will be linked to the account you use here, when you get the game you should be able to sign into this account and get any rewards.

apparently that means even ps3 owners buying dragon age will get the armour for mass effect 2, even though it will only be available on 360, for now at least
