Apologies if this has been mentioned in another post, but I haven't seen it.
I just finished my first playthrough last night. This has been bugging me all night (crazy, I know). In the final battle with Meredith she litterally skewered my hero on that lyrium infused blade of hers- like picked me up with it and shook me around- ouch. And the end scene shows us all just walking out like nothing happened. OMG that drives me crazy!
Seriously, in keeping wiht the dark and morbid theme of the game, it would have been more reasonable to have my hero in a crumpled heap on the floor- or limping, at least!
Am I wrong?
This small point of contention is driving me crazy...

I see. Let's do things your way.
In the prologue, Hawke meets three Hurlock Bolters.
Bam, bam, bam. Three crossbow bolts to the chest. Hawke dies, game over.

He was asking for realistic cut-scenes - which cant be done since BioWare wont know if she performs that move on all players - but I guess they could have a special scene for just that move , if implemented, in game....
But thanks for your sarcasm.

Yeah she didn't "skewer" me during the last fight... so because of people like me, you didn't get a almost-dead hawke at the end =p

It would have been easy enough to have two cutscenes and a flag to check if Meredith did that. But they didn't even bother giving us conversations when we returned from quests half the time, or making more than one underground location, so... It's a product of rushed development time.
