Finished with my 2nd playthrough: first was a dual-wielding rogue (Mage Ally) and 2nd was an archer (Templar Ally)
Just starting my 3rd with a 2-handed weap warrior. This will most likely be my last playthrough, for a little while at least, and for this one, I'm going to try to complete all available quests and try to get the rest of the achievements.

I want to be a female rouge archer in my second playthrough, but again, I would like a patch first.

I've beaten the game with a two-handed warrior, but I two feel exhausted from the repetitive fights and maps. Maybe in a couple days I may try again.
Same here. I beat it, but really pushed myself the finish it. Fun, but not something I would like to go through again anytime soon.

No.

I pushed myself through it once. Decided to try it again and do all the silly sidequests they have to offer. Somewhere along the way, got sick of it and stopped. Haven't returned since, and don't think I will.

I'm most of the way through my second play through. The only real annoyance is the trashloot so far... so I just runscript addmoney'd my way to not having to worry about money. Except now I have to worry about missing drop quests, but ah well. :-) Love it so far.

No. I don't see the replay value. It's pretty linear.

NO.
Unless DA3 is going to be an rpg. If they turn around the series and pull it out of this mess, I must replay as my import didn't work right and I'm a cousland with an alistair king who went through the mirror...

been meaning to start a new run for the last 3 days....still not started it yet.....really can't be assed spending all those hours doing side quests again to actually get something akin to a story.

Not likely to play through to the end even once. Am presently trying. It's like doing homework.

Made my 2nd walkthrough yesterday. Doing it as a mage instead of a rogue this time around.

I have completed my first playthrough as a rogue. Now i play as a mage. And yes - DA2 has a big potential for replaying and roleplaying. No matter what everyone says.

Hell no. I barely got through the first playthrough. After Act 1, I fired up the console and skipped all the abysmal, soul-crushing combat with the killallhostiles command.
Seriously, playing through this game once is like playing through it 3 times because you "explore" the exact same areas in every act. It pissed me off when I started a new act, the maps would change back to undiscovered again even though I was just there a few hours ago. If they were trying to hide how much recycled content there is, they failed miserably.
Maybe, in 5 years, when I've purged the bad memories, I'll play again and side with the templars.

Maybe for you.

Definitely. I have not even finished a quarter of the game yet though. But I have already seen many things I want to explore differently with another character. I am also waiting for various mods, which will make it even more "replayable".

I'm in process of playing again...Is there no option to import your first Hawke generated character like you can in Mass Effect so i can keep her apperence and stats i finished on?
Regarding the game play..the romancing aspect has really fallen by the side, Mass effect romancing was well done, loved the build up and you got a lovely love scene...It failed big time for me in DA2. The random chit chat between characters was spot on

From my standpoint (3rd play through) there is no point in playing it through again. Yea different things may happen to your siblings or you mayside with diffrent groups but that its and even these have extrememly minimal effects on the game. The re-playability isn't there. It was boring to stick to it a second time and the third time i stopped on act 2.

played up to chapter 3 and lost interest, this just isnt what i was looking for in a dragon age game- and i doubt ill return to it to try and finish it
you aren't the only one with this opinion, most of my friends who got the game also said how sad this one is for a Bioware game and they don't even have the will to play it to the end once not to mention try to play it multiple times with or without imported saves, the greatest toll on the game seems to be forced lineraity and huge lack in customization of various kinds

Yeah the constant battles was annoying its like a filler to use up time to lengthen out the game zzzz.
