is there a way to increase the quantity of items that you get from Vaddin? Like...if I wanted 10 healing potions for example

I...take it you can't do this?

I was curious about this myself and since you had already asked didn't make any sense for me to ask it again. But since there's been no reply in regards to it I'm guessing it can't be done.

Great mod, thank you Thought Process! Does anyone know the item codes for the Ring of Whispers and the Antivan Garrote?

I tried this, used the vaddin filter, I see a take all box with a few items but if I close that it then says found XXX items, but then nothing happens, I don't see a list.

Double click the items you want or click take all. If you close the box, you don't get anything.

It... didn't occur to you to, maybe... take the items?

Pardon me if I'm beating a dead horse, but I've combed both these boards and on the nexus, and followed every instruction on the Wiki to the letter.  Now I know the console IS enabled.  HOWEVER, I cannot SEE anything when  I bring the console up.  I have extracted both the vaddi file and the fonts.erf file to the proper places (I hope nowhere in any of my directory structures do I see a 'patch' folder.) I noted after, however that the Wiki indicates that th fonts.erf file doesn't work with DA2, and so far I've been unable to locate anything that allows me to actually SEE the console fonts so I know WHAT I'm typing.  I'm usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out on my own, but, this one's got me cold stumped.  The reason I wanted to utilized the console is that I wanted that Enasalin armor to complete the set, that's it, no God items for me (yet, who knows what will happen when I get the console working ), and I am about to round out Act 3(?) by confronting the Arishok.  I know that the mysterious wizard in the middle of knowhere on the Wounded Coast SOMETIMES stocks the item, but I don't know if he'll be around after the shizznit goes down with the Qunari.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

You can not SEE the console, it is invisible by design. Type the commands in and hit return. If you typed the command correctly it will just work.

I got the script to work through pure luck, but although I have such wonderful items to in my inventory now, the armor that got spammed to it is still junk. I know that there is a list somewhere of the addin scripts for the armor and such, would someone please be so kind as to direct me to it? I would preferably like the Enasalin Armor, since I found out that I karked my ability to get the armor WAAAYYY back and I don't want to fight my dead mommy again ;D. Thanks!

Get the Vaddi mod, it will allow you to summon items using actual item names.
Additionally, I released the Enasilne set in one of my iytem packs, there are instructions in the pack on how to summon them.

Could you provide a link to said pack and instructions please?  I've got all the rest of the items I just need the armor.  Thank you for your assistance.

Once an item is in your inventory, you can use a savegame editor [search pyGFF] to change the quantity.

Extract to DocumentsBiowareDragon Age 2 (retain directory structure), alternatively, drop additem.erf into DocumentsBiowareDragon Age 2packagescorepatch.

What additem.erf? All that came in the download (for me, at least) was "vaddi.erf" in 3 nested subfolders...

xxxx[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/pinched.png[/smilie]  I'm still doing something wrong.  I downloaded the packs from the nexus and installed the .erf files in the override.  Then I open the console and do the 'runscript vaddin [item name]' like it says in the readme.  The game "thinks" for a moment, then I get a red error message saying "There were no items to be found with the filter [item name]."  I believe I've dutifully followed all the instructions properly what am I missing?xxxxxx

:D Never mind I finally figured it out.  When I get online tomorrow I'll be sure to give your files my endorsement Sunnie!  Great job!  I even figured out how to hack some backpacks for all my new loot.  runscript vaddin backpack and :wizard: SHAZAM maxed backpack capacity:P

I need some help with this. It sounds awesome but I have no idea what you all mean but "runscripte blah blah blah" When I extracted the Vaddi file it came out as an ERF file and I can't open it and see anything. I put it in the right place now I just need to know how to use it. Are they commands you give in game or something else?

is there any chance someone has a link back to an Item Database or Item Code list? I've seen this posted and have spent the last few hours trying to find it and haven't had any luck.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I second this request! I've been able to find some partial lists (eg Nexus has images of all female armour and their IDs but nothing for male armour, weapons, rings, belts, etc)

Thanks for this script. It's great to mess around with different items in the game that I wasn't able to obtain.

You're in luck, someone answered a question on a different thread and put this together.  Been very helpful for me, hopefull it will do the same for you.

I'm new to modding (so please try to retain lafter) but when I try to follow the directions and extract this to "Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age 2" an alert comes up informing me that I need to merge or replace the existing "packages" folder.  The packages folder is pretty damn important so messing with it is obviously not going to be done unless I'm 100% sure this isn't going to screw it up.  So am I supposed to allow the merging or do something different?

Also, there is NO "patch" file in the given directory "Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age 2\\packages\\core\\patch".  Is this something that should have come with it, or do I simply just create a new (and obviously initially empty) folder and name it patch and then put the extracted file into there?

Can anyone please grant some clarity to this poor poor noobie; it will be much appreciated.
