Dragon Age 3 Hopes

Next I'd like to slam the third act, it was bad, as I have seen said before, but I won't go into the long list of problems with feeling rushed etc. Instead I will focus on the biggest desgin flaw I have seen in the game. This might seem small to most people but if you think about it it makes sense that it can cause big problems.
I read the letter for the final plot quest and went on to do other things. I went to the gallows not to end the game but to deliver something to the herbalist. Instead I was railroaded into the end game. Was there a "wait a minute, I'm not ready for this" option. No. Was there a even a pop up warning me that if I accept this quest I would be forced in to the end game? No. Not even half the side quests I wanted to do were finished, I assumed that I would have the option to go talk them at my conveniece like all other quests and that I could enter the gallows freely without being railroaded to the end game. Instead as soon as I figured out what was going on I had to reload a pereivous game at the begining of the chapter.
That said I will go onto the main topic of the post. At the end of Dragon Age 2 we get the idea that all the mages are in full rebellion. This reminds me of what Morrigan said, which was two things in Witch Hunt. 1. The world will soon change, 2. My mother is up to something. These two things lead me to the conclusion that some if not all the events leading to the revlolt was caused somehow by Flemeth. I could be wrong since she only shows up in a cameo, but she could have laid the foundation centuries ago or is working through others.
In any event, I would like to see the story for Dragon Age 2 concluded, it felt to me like the beginning of a bigger story. That the seeker would somehow find the champion and ask him/her to put things right. To end the war, and perhaps see if Morrigan was right in Witch Hunt when she hinted that Flemeth was somehow involved with the events of Dragon Age 2 in some way we don't know about. Or maybe not, and it was as simply a crazy Templar with a cursed item.
I would also like to see the Champion's love interest, and survivng sibling in the sequel, assuming this is where the story is going. As well as Lelliana and Morrigan back. Lelliana because she is the divine's right hand, and therefore would want to get involved. As for Morrigan, assuming that her hints about warning us about Flemeth was tied to the events of Dragon Age 2, she is the only one who can do something about it. She is Flemeth's daughter, and a powerful mage, and one who knows Flemeth and knows what she can do, and how to stop her, if she is involved. Morrigan also has access to magic older and more powerful than any currently in Thedas, namely, that of Flemeth herself. She is her daughter, learned her secrets, even those Flemeth did not want her to know about via the grimoire the Hero Of Ferelden gave her. Not to mention she is the best character in the original game, or even the whole franchise for that matter. A dark cold hearted **** perhaps, but a great character.
As for the story continuing. I can almost see Hawke walking up behind Lelliana and say "So I heard you needed me." I can also see the player running acrosss Morrigan if the above suppositions about Flemeth are true (based mostly on the statements said in Witch Hunt), and if not, due to popular demand. For continuity sake I would assume I would assume that Bethany (since I played a rogue) and Merril (since Isabella was TOO crazy) to appear because they are the surviving sibling and love interest of Hawke.
Of course the sequel may not take that direction at all, or I could be wrong about Flemeth. Either way it was fun to theorize about this and I am looking forward to responses.

On basic design though, Bethesda game's would probably win out.

There is a general consensus that DA2 was not that great. Most of the flaws are in the final act, I was basically talking about plot and characters. But I could shoot a thousand holes in it based on bugs and design flaws. There enough of the latter to fill a tanker, and enough of the former to sink it. If you ask me defend the design flaws I will not, but as far as story goes, DA2 is the best.

Which plot, there only was a bit of plot in Act 2 but the rest of the game was about waiting for what you expected after the first minutes and then leave you in a cliffhanger.
Also the game failed to give me a reason to choose one side, I would have let them all rot if I had that choice.
And though it is personal taste I must admit, that I don't really like most characters except the viscount, aveline and your rouge companions.
Also I felt till the end alien to my Hawk and the choices I had to take so far, so for me it was a rather lousy RPG.

Never thought about that, I was so caught up my persoanl story about sister, mother, friends etc. I guess I never sat down and thought that as a whole, the story seems a bit off.
I have to apolgize in the defense of the plot, I don't want to, but from that point of view, outstide of the persoanl story and your family/freinds it doesn't have much.
I will defend the characters since they feel deeper, you're friendships seem to grow over the course of the game.

Just like I would have liked the option during Shepherding wolves to kill let patrice die to that gang, or kill her myself.

1. Use the inventory system from Dragon Age 1. It's incredibly annoying to have mountains of armor you can't use yourself and your teammates can't use either.
2. Let us talk to our companions when we feel like it and not only when they feel like it. It significantly reduces the interest to find out anything about your companions when after waiting for the loading screen to pop up you find out that they refuse to talk to you regardless of your friendship levels.
3. Bring back the cunning, willpower, intimidate, persuade, etc to dialogue. Now you just put all stats to combat stats since you have no situations where you'd need cunning.
4. Give us more than one choice in the main story line. Ok so you side with mages or templars in the final battle or with Qunari or Chantry but these choices don't really matter since mages will rebel anyways afterwards and you have to kill the Qunari afterwards no matter what. Pretty much all choices you have are in side quests.
If Dragon age origins were done like dragon age 2 it would be much like this.
1. You support Harrowmont to throne and do all quests for him and stuff.
2. Bhelen takes the throne anyways, but is obligated to help to appease the people or something.
1. You support Bhelen to the throne.
2. Bhelen takes the throne and everybody is happy.
and you can give a calm response, mocking response or an angry response to it but they all are just saying "ok" in different tones of voice.
Combat system was well done in Dragon age 2 and the story and voice acting were good as well but good story and voice acting are a standard to Bioware games.
Hawke's 2 default faces are rather awesome, but the fact that you couldn't customize those 2 default faces was dissapointing.
Dragon age 2 was a good game but It's not something that deserves an award from anything really.

a living world with more dynamic events, more options in what i wear and how it looks, same goes for my companions (God is the armors in DA2 bland and epicly boring, i mean some of the armors have been rehashed 3 - 4 times with minor colour changes)
More choices in general on how the story evolves and with wayyyyy bigger rammafications.... oh screw it ill just wait for Skyrim instead =/
