Alistairs Epilogue Bug? (possible spoliers)

He made Loghain pay for what hes done and I did the ritual with Morrigan... so the game ends, we both live but he is nowhere to be seen neither after the battle at the royal palace, nor at the epilogue...
Is this a bug? I was hoping to see him helping rebuild the Wardens but
thats not the case, his only options are being a drunkard or king(apart
from execution)? Seems really odd.
BTW, do you guys think he will import to Awakening and DA:2?

If you left Alistair at the city gates, this is working as intended (believe it or not). It shouldn't be bugged at all.
Really? If he's not king and you ditch him at the gates and live he doesn't show up? Weird.

Yep, he doesn't. He was probably really upset that you didn't let him go fight the archdemon as well.
Actually, I have no clue why the decision was made for him not to be there, but in the script that determines who's there and who isn't, I can tell you it is working as intended.

I don't know why he wasn't there at the coronation, but I've never done an Alistair Warden ending. As for cameos in DA2, yes. He'll show up as king, drunk, or Warden, depending on your import save.
Which import is the drunk? cause I have to see that one.

That'd be No Compromise. Alistair is King in both of the others. And none of them have him ending as just a warden. To see that one you'd have to create that ending yourself (or just watch the cameos on youtube...)
Alistair can end up a gray warden provided Loghain was killed. Anora only calls for Alistair's death/exile if you spare Loghain. Otherwise, Alistair will swear fealty to Anora if not made king and he's a gray warden.

I never had that ending, because on the one occasion that I spared Loghain, I had already hardened Alistair and talked him into marrying Anora, so he was there at the coronation, sulking. (Loghain sacrificing himself).

IIRC, Alistair ends up a drunk if you spare Loghain and let him leave you, I think unhardened. There's an DA:O epilogue for that. I don't think he would be at the coronation either then.

You don't get the drunk card if the warden married Anora. you should get it if he's exiled and she's sole queen.

More info from dragonage wiki:
If Loghain is conscripted into the Grey Wardens and Alistair is not married to Anora, he leaves Ferelden and becomes a wandering drunkard.

ejoslin, long time no see! So, if you spare Loghain and marry Anora yourself, he stays??

Hey there! And no, I said he'll stay provided Loghain was killed. If you spare Loghain, he leaves. If the warden marries Anora and spares Loghain, you don't get the drunk slide. Since the script notes say the drunk sllide should ONLY appear if Anora is sole queen and Alistair exiled, I'm assuming if she's married to the warden, the uprising in Alistair's name that the slide also reference doesn't happen.
