I'm pretty sure Hubert was voiced by the same actor who voiced Riordan in DAO, but Hubert's accent was much stronger than Riordan's.

Now that you mention it, it seems like you're right.
It seems forced too much in Hubert case. That may be wrong i don't think it fits really good.

Aveline is Fereldan. She was NAMED after an Orlesian Chevalier, but she's not Orlesian herself.

Aveline's father was Orlesian, her mother was Ferelden, and she was raised in Ferelden. So she's half Orlesian, but has a Ferelden accent and Ferelden upbringing.

She's the daughter of an EXILED Chevalier- meaning ethnically, but not nationally, Orlesian. She was raised in Ferelden, and has a Ferelden accent.

Somebody wasn't paying attention... Aveline is not Orlesian (in terms of nationality).
Also, a game in Orlais wouldn't get too annoying.  Half the people in Kirkwall had that accent, after all... I'm not really a fan, but I'm used to it by now.

You're making the assumptions that she was born and raised as a child in Ferelden while her father could have been exiled later than that.

I wouldn't mind being in Orlais but I dread going to Antiva. It was painful listening to that Viscento guy talking -shudder-

Funny thing is in the nreal world french sounding accent actually increases the chances to get laid.
In German he didn't have an accent, but the DuPuis had and it sounded really forced.

Yeah I don't dig the accent either. Antiva and Orlais based games put me off because of that. Can we all just be Ferelden refugees so I can play with my speakers ON?
