I have been ported back to Gamlon's house after the big fight in the Deep Roads, my journal says return to Gamlen's house but the map shows I am supposed to go to Lowtown, where it says on the map "Current Quests - The Deep Roads Expedition".

When I go to the house I just get mother going on about not taking Bethany, even though I didn't take her and we are back.

I have a special deliveries box that I can't access, even though I know there is stuff in there, I have quests telling me to go and access it. I have tried leaving the area, reloading, even switched it off and on again.

Like a fool I don't have a more recent save game although there are some autosaves that it hasn't overwritten, for some reason, and I'm okay with having to battle the boss again (I'm playing it on baby mode) but not if it won't solve anything.

Anybody else come across these issues?

Act 2 (after the deep roads expedition) should start you in the Viscount's Keep. From Act2 on, your 'base' is in the Hawke Estate, located in Hightown - all of the things in Gamlen's house should now be there, including the Special Deliveries chest.

What you're saying is the Journal is telling you to pick up your items in Gamlen's House still, at the beginning of Act2? If so i'll look in to that.

Thank you. I have started from an old autosave and this has let me access the box, I'll just dash through the deep roads now I know the lore and await your reply.

Edit: after porting back home I entered the cutscene with Bethany that I was expecting. I think it had got its knickers in a twist because Aveline had been constantly yelling to buff herself as well, really annoying. All sorted now.
