In Gamlen's house, I ordered heal potions.  Where are they?  They are not in my inventory.  They are not in my storage box.  They are not in my special deliveries box.

Where are they?

By the way, is there a search function on these boards? I cannot seem to find one, and plowing through pages of threads to find what I'm looking for is loathsome and hateful to me.

They should have gone to your inventory. Immediately. Given that you still have enough room/slots in your inventory.

Yeah, they should definitely be in your inventory. All of the potions, grenades and runes that you order in the house go directly to your inventory

Inventory is divided into categories (Those little icons on the top of the equipment section).

Click on the Potion Category, it should be there.

Keep in mind you don't make healing potions. You make Restorative Potions, as far as I know they don't activate with the Auto Potion button. You have to manually drag it to the quick access bar.

Okay, I see what the problem was. They were in my inventory, but an "elfroot potion" is not the same as a "health potion", and I had only dragged the health potions to the quick-bar, and it wasn't going up.

I see it's not dependent on the number of elfroots you have, so they must be for something else.

Sad. In DA:O, I regularly walked around with 2-300 small heal potions, 30-60 meds, and conserved the large and huge ones for use in serious battles only. At 37 silver a pop for the basic elfroot, that ain't gonna happen. :(

Potion drops are based on how many you have. There is little reason to conserve them.

Every time you get back to your house, dump all your healing and stamna/mana potions into the chest - so you have 0 in your inventory. On highest difficulties it will no longer have potions in loot if you already have 4.

So if you have 3 and kill a monster, you might get a potion along with the rest of the loot. If you already have 4, then you will get none (and be forced to make your own).

I think for Hard it is 6 and 8 for Normal. Not exactly sure but something like that.
