Hi all im almost through act 2 and Im finding there are alot of items from vendors that I can't buy after the mandatory companion upgrades/purchases. Some are 80+ gold. Do you get more gold in Act 3 or wil you be able to do a new game+ and get these? Ive done nearly every side quest as well but cant seem to manage to get my gold up high enough. Thanks..

You just have to collect everything and sell everything. I can only go on my 1st playthru, but if you keep your purchases to a minimum, by act three you should be able to get most things. why else would they be there if there was no way to buy them?

well im selling as much as I can but im keeping some fire resist gear just in case i might need it vs dragons or in act 3 or something. But yes, for the most part I sold everything but part of my problem as well is that Varis (i dont use Isabella in my party) is not at 30 cunning yet so i missed out on alot of complex chests. I might just respec him if all else fails or run back through with Isabella I suppose...

i spent loads of points on cunning for varrick. wont do that again. the highest chests have nothing but junk in them. xp is only real gain, so i wouldnt stress over those

yeah thanks that's why i was reluctant because he's better with higher dex and some points for stamina cuz he runs out quick, even with buffs/abilities.

I completely agree. On your main point, started my second playthru as a Rogue the other day and i have seen some rings, belts and mage staffs at over 100 sov's. (Act1-Act3)

exactly, the most ive had is about 70G and ive done every quest I could find so far, sold nearly all non essential gear,  so I dont see how I can get to 100+G unless something happens in Act3 that im unaware of. Im just finish act 2..Either way, its a bit of a bummer if get more gold in Act3, finallly get what Ive been wanting and then the game ends lol..

Isnt that what happens in most games though? I mean, it takes you all game to get the best spec, only with no content left to fully enjoy it? lol By the way, I triggered the '100g in your pocket' ach earlyish in act 3, so you will get there. I also seemed to get most of my 50g back for the expedition, whilst in the deep roads.
