I just created a mage more or less and discovered that his defense percent is 9% where as my level 22 warrior with more in cunning and a much higher number on the right (161) only has a 5% defense.

Am I missing something or is this a glitch? Because it makes no sense why a mage, with weaker armor and less attribute points into something that determines defense (IE cunning) has MORE defense % than a warrior that has a much higher level and more attributes into cunning. It just feels off.... Maybe there is a class thing I missing but this doesn't make any sense.


EDIT:

At 16 cunning my level 6 mage has 20% defense / 83
At 17 cunning my level 22 warrior has 5% defense /161

Sure doesnt seem like a normal thing...

The % is relative to your level. Everytime you level up so do all the enemies in the game and as such the GUI can accurately say you have X% defense vs. enemies of your level.
