Right off the top of my head I can think of at least three things (outside of the ending) where something beyond the current story was hinted at that could be a potential new story/game of even a dlc.
When you run into the Grey Wardens and they have somewhere else to go and something else to do. Flemeth and the other things she needs to do. Sebastian and Starkhaven.
Anything else that people noticed that has potential to turn into something beyond DA2 (or as an extension)?
