I'm goin to cosplay Merrill for the london 2012 expo and an event one of my m8's is holding on 1/1/12 so you guys will probably be seeing the 1st Merrill cosplay that can pull off a welsh accent if the american cosplayer don't do it. So all DA2 players/cosplayer be proud as make an attempt of making the costume (plus i'm a brunette so i just need my hair cut and altered to her hairstyle) The costume it self will be made in july after my cousins wedding when i sell off my bridesmaids dress (yes i am girl)
Hope you guys will like it and be supportive for me. *thumbs up*

I'll favorite this thread to see how progress will be going.
I saw the Aveline launch day cosplay costume, wich i thought was awesome.
Wish i had the skills to pull such things of, but alas, ill leave more talented people suchs as yourself to do it.

I'll be at the Saturday of the May expo one spider with my m8 I live near the trainlines between st.davids Exeter to London waterloo. I got at least 3 items ready : Scarf, legging and boots. i just need some feather shoulders pads i think she wears, a black long sleeved shirt (4 holes in it), 2 metres of dark green fabric along with staf and 4 golden plated (coloured) curtain rings (don't ask lol) and a belt which is about it.

Awesome to hear the costumes going well- and I’ll be interested in hearing the accent, as I’m half Welsh
Lost my accent though from living in London, but I still frequently visit the home of the Dalish. XD

Anychance we get pics as your making the outfit?
I've always been curious how much effort goes into making a Cosplay outfit evenmore so fo a good one.

so far Ad Duug 4 parts i;ve already got I'm partially half way there which are mostly the underlyings, boots and the scarf, but again 1st priority is the staff then the others and if I can finish it before I could go to the London anime-con +18 I'll go then as Merrill if I finish early for the summer.

Terrible news: Someone on DA has beaten me to it as the 1st Merrill Cosplayer of 2011. I think the artist is American as I thought it bloodi would be -clenches fists- but she's not near to wales unlike me -grins evily-
