Is the Arishok in DA2 THE Arishok of all Qunaris?

My question is, does this mean the Arishok we met in DA2 was truly THE Arishok of all Qunari, and that my champion just killed the military leader of all qunaris in single combat?

I thought that Arishok was the name of the leader, in this case the leader of those Qunari in Kirkwall. I don't think he's the the REAL Arishok, although I could be wrong.
There is one Arishok, and that was him. They'll get a new one soon after though I assume.

I guess that's why it only took a couple hundred of them to threaten the entire city of Kirkwall.Fieryeel wrote...
Wow, the Qunari is a weaker race than I thought.

It would make no sense to have one Arishok at a time which would go conquer.Par Vollen and Seheron aren't even close to each other, and i expect the Qunari to have military strength to defend their people in both locations.

And why it only took a group of 4 to cut through their entire army in a matter of minutes lol
You think that they brought their entire army? I doubt it would fit standing in Kirkwall.

So we´re assuming that he´s the guy who sent Sten to investigate what is the Blight.
exactly. and on DA2 he is personally involved, because he must find and take back a Qunari philosopher's book stole by Isabela's in Orlais. the book was supposed to be gave back to the Qunaris by the Orlesian as a gift for peace, but the Tevinter tried to steal it to break the Qunari's morale (because the Tevinter is still at war with 'em...)

Why do you think the Arishok's presence is required? He's basically the military supreme commander. He's still allowed Generals.Nonoru wrote...
I think Arishok is both a grade and a term to designate the military part of the Qunari.

I missed that.

Well i expect from a General to be aware of what happens in both locations at all time. Some orders may need his approval, especially among the Qun where he is considered a pillar.
To a human it wouldn't make sense.
Well answered sir.

The rainbow sword lowers his chances of becoming Arishok. I don't think anyone would take him seriously.NinjaRogue wrote...
If someone says Sten, without clarifying that it is poor sod that you kill in DA2, it should be and understood reference to hornless dude with the rainbow sword.

It rose his chances in my book. I would control him and chasing after Darkspawn and scream "TASTE THE RAINBOW!!!!"
