Ok i've been looking around here and all around the net I haven't found the answer to this issue I have x1600 pro video card 3.0 duel core processor 4 gigs of mem and a 1024 gig hard drive and I have win 7 64 bit running I've chase it down to either the drivers for the video card or the video card it's self can someone help me with this and if I do need to replace my vid drivers can someone point me in the right spot to get upto date driver or if it's the card it's self can someone point out a card under $100 because if that the case it's cheaper to buy the PS3 copy of the game thanks again

A Radeon X1600 is the game's minimum, and as such, means you have to make allowances, or perform an update. There are plenty of cards in the $60 to $90 range that are better than an X1600. Prices have gone down on graphics since the X1600 was new.

Here's a nice one:

www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx

It's an HD 5670 for $60, after rebate, plus $5 shipping.

(Good Choice of a personal Avatar!)

Just to add to that, if you want a card that will last a good deal longer than that one, try this:

http://www.newegg.co...0-528-_-Product

The Radeon HD 5750, $90 after rebate. It's more expensive, but it's faster and will last an extra year or two when it comes to playing the latest games. Both the 5750 and the 5670 that Gorath posted are good values for how much they cost.

i have an x1600 too and it does fine with war, but i do have anotehr problem. my hd seems to be going utterly nuts all the time when i move my char around, there seems to be some kind of data flow bottle neck and i have no idea whats causeing it. i have noticed some perfomance increases at higher resolutions. but still not fixing it.. the problem also appears to be lag but the hd going bonkers while its happening is a dead give away.

hs any one heard of this before. if so do you have any answers for a solution. im close to buying new hard drives to see if thats the problem.

periodically the problem stops and its smooth sailign for an hour or so then it reverts back to chaotic hd light flashing and what looks like lag.

You need you own personal, private problem report, following the guide pinned on top by Pacifien.
