So, I guess if you didn't hesitate to open this thread you already know abut the awesome cutscene of Anders blowing up the chantry. Yeah, another huge explosion in a fantasy-setting, but that wasn't the first, wasn't it?

Well, let's go back a few years. Ah yes, Dragon Age. Slaying the Archdemon caused a huge explosion too.

And what about other games? Uhm. Yeah, a big f-in nuclear blast in Mass Effect that wiped out a continent (and a friend).

And finally Mass Effect 2... you destroy an almost moon-sized space Station.

So... any thoughts? Does Bioware make a habit of huge explosions like Capcom made a habit of ending almost every Resident Evil-game with a rocket launcher?

But cool guys don't look at explosions, and Bioware forces me to look at them :/

I'm grateful they are at least copying Michael Bay instead of John Woo. Could you imagine these games with a slo-mo battle at the end of each one? I shudder to imagine.

Slow motion would only happen when Isabella's fighting

I think the real question is: Why not have something explode?

This is like machinegun fire, it´s an automatic win.

That´s why Bianca is so cool.

Truthfully,I think the explosions "enhance" the gameplay. If not for explosions all we would have is...A game without explosions and that would be extremely boring.
