Is there anything worth buying or doing before going on the expedition?
I bought additonal bags, a skillbook? and a blood magic increasing item from a vendor. anything worth aquiring before undertaking the expedition?

Assuming that you already invested 50 sovereigns, check the black emporium for maker sign and potions of mortal vessel. It may be a good idea to re-spec your character before doing the expedition.

yes i did that and it was bugged 
had alot of skills i unlearned before. seems some of them randomly reapear. also some prerequirements are not met and i never learned those after reskilling. also tried clearing my tactics screen, but that had limited effect. i would not recommend using makers sigh at the moment. but thanks for the tip with those other potions. i totaly overlooked those
