Fenris is an escaped slave, and values his personal space. I can relate. I thought it was presumptuous for Anders to ask to move in. I would have said no, if it wouldn't have ended the romance.

Fun thing is, I'll remember that bossfight forever, because it's completely impossible on PC-coop, unless you manage to skip 90% of the fight by hitting is glowing red weakspot with a rocket :|

You are not alone, friend.
Well, if Fenris would stop being a total jerk at everyone around him, I'd might reconsider. Thou I seem to have him on "rivaly" and that might have something to do with the fact that I usualy dissagree with his facist world view.
...oh who am I kidding, he is a jerk.

It's a fun game, imagining what a mage Hawke on rivalmance path must have going through her head, the moment she gets wallshoved and he starts glowing

This is my second play through romancing Fenris. You don't need both gifts to max out his friendship points (I missed the book the first time round). Also, you don't necessarily always have to side with the templars, but I've never sided with a blood mage. Kill slavers on sight. I talked him out of killing his sister with no ill effects.
I agree with other posts. It's his voice that does it for me. What is it about broody, angry, boys? Hot.

Make that another resounding yes! If hot kissing and willingness is involved bring it on.

I wonder why haters feel the need to come into the romance thread and spew their idiocy...
Well, what can anyone say. Haters gonna hate.
Gideon Emery can narrate my dreams any day. He's the leading man, after all (For those who DON'T get that, play FFXII and get with voice actors...)

Honestly, Fenris's companion quests are key. Side with his viewpoints ENTIRELY on them, and don't even take the elf girl as a servant. While you can recoup some points by saying you gave her a job, and his reaction of "Oh....that's... good then." is SUPER cute... you just don't see that it docks you rivalry points for picking that option first and then you negate a few of them. To get max friendship from it, you have to just give her the coin and tell her to go. Also, make sure when Fenris has a choice, you let him make it, like when it comes to Hadriana's death. And don't nag him about how he gave his word or he'll get irked with you. I haven't even done his second companion quest (his sister) and he's already locked into full friendship with me. And I just didn't take him along on any aspect of the Wayward son quest EXCEPT for the slaver part. That's key if you want to balance friendships. Others appreciate you giving Feynriel choice... Fenris doesn't. But he does very much like you killing off the slavers. So doing some companion switching there to maximize friendship profit is the best if you don't want to go anti-mage. In all of my playthroughs, I've sort of stood in the middle until they forced me to pick in the end. I was never 'pro-mage' or 'pro-templar'. I was just 'pro-sense'. But playing that way DOES require you consider companions and know which ones to take when.
