Hi all,

I found 2 lines in the DragonAge.ini that destroy my FPS if either of both is changed. And by destroy I mean going from steady 60fps -> jumpy 24-51fps while looking at a wall doing nothing.

1st: GraphicsDetailLevel=2
-> When changing any video options this loves to jump to 1 for no reason, crippling my fps. So when it happens, I turn it back to "2" manually in the ini -> fixed.

2nd: Gamma=1
-> Obviously, changing gamma settings will change this value, crippling my fps (...now if that ain't fun!). And just for fun's sake: no, going back to Gamma 1.0 in game will not fix this, the game needs to restart. So I turned it back to "1" manually in the ini -> fixed.

For me, this is 100% reproducable, I changed those values around a lot just to be sure. Going to Dx11 has the same effect for me.

So if you're having jumpy fps and overall poor perfromance in Dx9 / Medium, you might want to give this a try. Other settings may cause problems as well, so here is the full video options party of my ini for reference:
