I'm in act 3. In act two, Hawke and Fenris spent the night, after which Fenris sort of freaked out. In act 3, after killing Fenris's former master, they made up, or so it seemed, since they kissed and everything. However, when confronted about the relationship by Anders, I can choose the option "he left me" which makes Hawke say that they're not together anymore. Also, in the codex, it says that Fenris refuses to speak about the night three years ago. Which makes it seem as if they didn't make up. And at the same time, after the "make up" scene, Varric mentioned the relationship and asked Fenris about it.
What's up with that? It feels really inconsistent.
