Is it me or is he directly refering to Flemeth and the Maker?


Sandal: The old lady is scary.

Bodahn: Oh it's nothing, he says he sees an old lady watching over his bed.
Sandal: Scary!

Since she is involved with both the Warden, and Hawke, I can't help but think that Sandal is involved with Flemeth.

His other dialouge that seemed completely creepy about the skies parting and when 'He' rises all will see or something... He seem's to refer to the Maker?

Is this a foreshadowing of Dragon Age 3?

I thought he was talking about Flemeth.
He really puzzles me. And im glad hawke was able to question it a little.
Also notice after you find him in the deep roads he's shivering and hesitates to say anything.
He's just too creepy. And his grin.. *shivers*

Sandal is an old god imprisoned in a retarded dwarfs body to contain his magic.

Sandal is creepy but probably the most interesting character besides Flemeth. He obviously has some awesome power since he can easily defeat a room full of darkspawn, including an ogre, and a group of demons. He could be a big factor in DA:3 and I have a feeling we may see his wrath should something happen to Bodhan.

Iv got a feeling he was born from a dwarf and a human or elven mage.. and thats why he has a strange magical persona.. perhaps as a mage enters the fade, sandal HALF enters it because he has antimagic dwarven blood, which allows him to see aparitions of old women.. POSSIBLY flemeth.. and obviously craft runes which is a job for tranquil mages! ... OR the developers just think its totally fun to tease us by throwing in completely random things like this?! haha

Flemeth was the first... *thing* that came to mind when he talked about an invisible hag watching him. He's obviously someone powerful.

The prophecy is likely about whatever people refer to as "The Maker". I would bet it's not a friendly creature, given how Sandal and the Tevinter statue from Origins talk about his return.
