I never really understood the argument that the elves must be drastically changed, because they are just humans with pointy ears... Just look at LotR, for example. Most people know Legolas the moment they see him, and everyone knows he's a goddamn elf. There's no need to give him a welsh accent and starve him to death.

Ah so true! So many People were all like "Omgz, Elves look too much like Humans in DAO!" They really didn't. The difference was fairly subtle, I'll agree with that, but they were still distinct in their look. And their look was awesome. Now, they look and sound so...icky. I used to think of Elves, both City and Dalish as elegent, wisened, passionate, people. Now they all sound like Carnies. I keep waiting for them to sell me candy floss and try and sell me a ticket for a ride on the Ferris wheel.

Also, I would like to once again echo the sentiments of awesome, people have been expressing for this thread. many lols to be had.

@Kornichon - That is too funny. I can't even describe it in words. I'm just laughing my ass off. The picture is a thousand words on it's own.

@GehnTheGrey - I never even thought about that and that's funny in itself. I didn't really think elves needed changes from DA:O elves but it's not my game. The only elf I've seen so far that I've liked the new art direction on was Fenris. However, he was built around the new design choices and not the old. So he really has no reason to look as strange as some of the other elves running around.

Dunno, archers would had not followed Varric there and achers don't kite in DA2. So Varric would had had to run near the archers. Melee mobs would rush to him like that.

The screenshottie can be fake or real but if it would be fake it would still show very well how combat in DA2 is and what kind of immersion hit it gives in many levels.

Edit: DA2 would be best in experimenting how mobs can play football with PC.

I must say Fenris does look pretty cool yeah. He really is THE only one that does though. In my opnion anyway. Shame that fact was wasted on me however, as all I wanted to do was mess his pretty face up with Daggers. Then scalp his Emo hair and put it under Anders's bed. Hehe. Man, I'd pay good money to see his reaction to that.
