It's the dwarven noble quest where they're all going in to the deep roads, and your character has to get the shield from the Aeducan Thaig. I never noticed a guy with a decapitated head, though.

What they did to Bodahn Feddic and Sandal was bad enough.

Ever since Tolkien, people tend to burn a lot of fuel trying to figure out whether female dwarves would be ugly or not, and whether or not they would have beards. So, in the spirit of streamlining things, Bioware got rid of the stimulus.That's my theory, anyway.

Edit: It did appear in a way that Sandal was used in an attempt to fix DA2 and/or to 'lighten up' the DA:O fan's experience.

*SPOILER*

Bioware tried to do the classic "Sandal around dead darkspawn" moment again at the end of DA2. It wasn't funny this time, I was totally expecting it to be honest. Also taking into consideration his dumbed down or you could say "Streamlined" (lol) voice just made me hate him.  I was thinking to myself, "Nice try Bioware, classic DA:O moments can't save you".

Those floor traps made no sense to me. It didn't matter if they were there or not, I was always knocked back and hurt when I tried to walk over them.
