done and done!

holy crap are they that BIG!

What's sad is that this scene never happened in the game. Hawke never stands behind Fenris with her clothes off, she's always sitting in the bed.

I hate it when you get fake scenes. I always wait for them to show up in movies or in games, and I am always disappoint. DISAPPOINT!!

whos the red head girl?

Triss

=p She's hot. is she like a companion?

She's the protagonist's paramour (i.e. main squeeze), so yeah I guess that would make her a companion.

she may be geralts main squeeze, but she's not geralts first choice.  He fell for a certain magician long before triss came around.

I had noticed the weird new designs of the darkspawn (and the elves and dwarves) in general, but I had forgotten how creepy the ogres used to look.

This picture, along with the map picture comparing the sizes of the various Dragon Age game worlds posted earlier, makes me even more disappointed with this game.

This thread is so much more entertaining than the game it's based on.

Yes, yes it is. And it can make you sad, and laugh...the game...angsty sad (the only break in the depressing storyline--depressing as in sad:crying:--things that happen is the "Get Aveline Laid" quest).  Where is that pic of Anders with a basket of kittens? I made myself depressed...

That red patch should be half the size. I think that map was too generous.

It not like they sold a million copyies already......Wait?...

The 1 million copies is probably sales + preorders. So depending on the amount of preorders the sales could be incredible ****ty for 3rd week.

Awesome thread.

It's interesting to see the visual comparison.

Ultimately, however, since the DA series are not an open-world games, DA2 could potentially take place in a single city with combined area maps just as large as a game like DAO that takes place across different parts of Ferelden.

Although this also makes me sad since Anders is now all "RAWR, Templars!111!!" instead of "Awww, perrrrttty kitty."

Great. Now I'm depressed too. This is spot-on. Man, that was mind-boogling, I couldn't believe they did that. Still don't.

I always used to think that V-shaped piece of metal at the top of Hawke's champion armor was for collecting rain water or making it very hard for Hawke to take a leak or tie his boot straps. It serves absolutely no defensive purpose and looks to actually hinder mobility and perception, bad armor design! But now I have a practical use for it!

That made my day. Finally! An explanation for that rassafrackinconsarnit thingie. I can finally sleep at night again, no more tossing and turning trying to figure that silly piece of metal.
