At this point it might just take place in Flemmeth's hut. Then again with the new look of Flemmeth, she likely lives in a vast castle made of gingerbread with an army of flying monkeys tending to her every whim.

Ultimately, however, since the DA series are not an open-world games, DA2 could potentially take place in a single city with combined area maps just as large as a game like DAO that takes place across different parts of Ferelden.

DA3 will be set in a cottage.  Furthermore, because the game is going to be a really deep personal story, there will only be one character in the whole game, you.  In order that you can really become familiar with the cottage, the game will take place over 70 years, during which time, absolutely nothing in the cottage will change even a smidgeon.

Go to the coast and watch the giant spiders hang from the sky just before they drop, it reminded me of when I worked in the construction of ladders, newbies would be asked to go fetch some skyhooks to finish construction of a ladder.

I never came close enough with Hawke to really look at them. Boy am I glad about that. I'd probably have cracked a rib falling off my chair in a fit of hysterical laughter.

You don't see many in DA2, so I had to try and get a good combat shot (it was harder getting the DAO one). Their hands look WEIRD, btw, like their fingers are bendy bananas.

And yes, they look hilarious--not scary at all. The DAO ones...they at least looked intelligent. >.<
I appreciate the updated graphics of DA2, but the art design left something to be desired in some places...

EDIT: I don't mind the elf ears--why couldn't their be Sharlock Emissaries, I guess? But the gimp face-wear and permanently protruding tongue? >.<

It actually looks like a bad "UFO" photo..and if you look at it, doesnt it make you think of the silhouette of the "Normandy" as seen from below? Proof of Dragon Effect for sure! <3 <3

but you get to learn basic survival skills. like...kill rats for dinner, patch up your clothes and maybe cry a little
