But that makes it look like it's on course to make 2/3 the sales of DA:O, for 1/3 the time and maybe 1/5 the cost?

And in the meantime they can churn out ME3 in a similar timeframe and end up making more money in less time overall (even though I got off that bandwagon when I played ME2)

So those numbers like like all WIN to me.

Of course they don't tell the real story - future DAII DLC isn't going to sell as well and DAII will hurt sales of DA3, maybe opening the door for other franchises to take over and reducing BW to the sidelines. 

But the sales numbers... look great!

I always used to think that V-shaped piece of metal at the top of Hawke's champion armor was for collecting rain water or making it very hard for Hawke to take a leak or tie his boot straps. It serves absolutely no defensive purpose and looks to actually hinder mobility and perception, bad armor design! But now I have a practical use for it!

So that's what it's for! LOL
