I wonder why the chaotic/neutral/lawful and good/neutral/evil system has been abandoned. The system seems rather cool, in terms of roleplay (at least so far).
And does anyone know how I can enable/create tooltips? Without going to the actual menus I can't see any tooltips, and it makes combat really hard. And would be nice if I could play with a bigger resolution than the default

I just finished reinstalling BG2 as well, there is a widescreen mod that let's you play at higher resolutions (1920x1080 in my case). You can find it here: http://www.gibberlin...net/widescreen/ And yeah I also think the old style alignment system was great. I have been missing my chaotic evil characters :innocent: Oh and regarding the tooltips: go to the gameoptions and set the delay of tooltips to short, they take a little too long to show up on default.

Thread was locked a comment after yours. Technical problems + General Discussion = Locked thread. T-minus 5 until thread lock = Great chance to screw around. Trolling is only trolling when people are having serious conversation.
