When DA:O came out, the forums were full of trolls complaining about

1. long load times
2. some random bugs
3. blood splatters
4. 'dumbed down' gameplay from bg2
5. failure of being a 'spiritual successor' to bg2
6. bad graphics
7. uninspiring storyline
8. human noble origin face/skin
9. game being too short
10. game being too long
11. boring combat
12. companion ___ is dumb because ____
13. DLC ____ is bad because ____
14. Deep roads is long and boring
15. the Fade is long and boring
16. Map travel mechanic is lame

thats all i can remember off the top of my head

And then they took all the complaints about DA:O and, instead of fixing them, made them a whole lot worse.

Most of the things in that list can be said too about DA:2, and in every case it made things worse. Its much shorter, the look is much worse, the companions are flatter. They started work on DA2 before they even released DA:O and it shows.

I can see the trend and logic behind those complaints, but I can't see BW listening.

Just want to point out for added hilarity in case some of you don't get it: The elf flirting with the sheep on the background is a welsh-joke and a reference to the design changes done on elves.
