I am stuck on a quest called "All that remains". It asks me to follow the trail
of blood. I am at the spot in Lowtown where the trail begins, and the quest mark
thingie points to that. But nothing happens when I right click on it, and no new
quest places appear in regards to this quest. So is this a bug, or am I doing
something wrong? I have even tried clicking on it with all my characters, and
tried rebooting the game, just to check everything. Nothing works.

Please help, it will be greatly
appreciated.

Follow the trail. It's not that one spot, but a trail of blood on the ground that leads to another location.

Or don't follow the trail, instead you can go to Darktown and talk to the guy you met inside the Mansion and he'll lead you to the murderer. I recommend bringing Varric for humor.

Like maria said, it's a trail that will lead you a fairly long ways. From the first spot of blood go down the steps to your right towards the Hangman. You don't have to click them and you'll know your at the end when you get to a door and someone says let's go inside. Once you get to the door you'll get a quest marker for it. If you want more specific info on where it ends I can just tell you and you can head straight there.

I don't understand: how was your problem solved? I am experiencing the same problem, for two characers in a row now (after having passed this point in the quest in about 10 playthroughs before that.) The trail of blood appears, and I can follow it to the foundry, but can't enter the latter - the door isn't active. The quest marker remains (hmmm, no pun intended...) at the start of the blood trail, and won't move from there, regardless of where I click/right-click, or walk.

BioWare, could you take a look at this, please?

@ ArkaneRaven I had this happen once. I went back to the start of the trail of blood and followed it back to the foundary then the door activated and was able to continue.

Happened to me too, though only after sparing Gascard. No matter how many times I'd come back to Lowtown, it wouldn't activate (except for the first blood spot).

I had to go to Darktown, take Gascard with me and everything went fine.

damn it i killed gascard and i'm having the same problem now
